Hello,

when can we expect continuation of The Basement? Is it in the works?

I agree!

Not only was The Basement a terrific story, but the artwork was stellar. I'm curious to see how the girls' plight continues.

I'm afraid I don't have much a source for my comments, but I did email dofantasy's customer support about whether they were planning a followup to the Basement with Ted Owen, and they said yes, although they obviously couldn't give me a date.

So hopefully that means "Yes" and "Soon" because as you noted, the art was steller.

Love Owen's art, but please, no bugs or slugs this time.

I don't like to look at them. They detract from the beauty of the girls.

I can't agree with that statement, personally. I think something so creepy serves as a wonderful foil for their beauty, a stark contrast between the loveliness of the women and the ugliness of the world around them.

To each their own, obviously, but those scenes you obviously didn't like stood out to me as some of the most memorable.

...

Oddly enough though, I find a lot of Templeton comics hard to read because the way men tend to be drawn in them just nauseates me, despite them serving as the same general type of foil.

Great word! Thanks. I'll have to figure out how to use it in a sentence. In my job, I'm sure the opportunity will arise.

Maybe I suffer from Formicophobia. Could be the problem.
