I´d just like you to know that you've just gotten an extra fan!
I recently got introduced to your work by someone very dear to me, and I must say I'm just in love with your work!
Your art-style and the scenarios you come up with are simply amazing!
Especially "Total Control" was amazing, I personally think it's your best work so far!

Which brings me to my question:
Do you think we could expect a continuation of that story in the near future?
Thanks SillyPuppy!

I'm happy to see my work reaching new audiences. Please give my thanks to your friend as well.

I am planning to make a sequel to Total Control -- in fact, unless something else happens, it might be my next comic after I release Dark Vengeance 3 soon.

That's great to hear. Turns out you've got another new fan with me as well. What I love about both "Total Control" and "Cheerleaders" is you ground everything in a weird but definitive reality that makes everything so much more believable. I think you comics are some of the first where the slavers need to actually hide what they're doing from the general public. And that makes these stories all the more interesting.

I'm not sure where Cheerleaders 9 is in development. But I posted some narrative observations on the thread about comic no.8 going into no.9 of the series. http://dofantasyforum.com/viewtopic.php ... 6&start=50 I wish you best luck tackling a harem situation. That can't be easy.

I'm inclined to agree. Number 8 really sets up the "beginning of the end." There's still the establishment of Velasco's brothel and ultimate fate of some of these women. (Though the sister pair's fate is, by appearance, pretty well secured.) But yeah, all these characters from the start are ending up in one general location. That should help wrap things up for one of Fernando's best comic series.

Well, nothing's definite at this point. In fact some people might recall that TOTAL CONTROL was a last-minute decision to do something new instead of a sequel for my current series.

 A trait of traditional artists I'm very failure with. I work with a concept artist as part of the game development group I work for. (I'm the CG and Technical artist. Autodesk Maya and Unity 3D) He's the same way, working by intuition regarding what feels right at any given time. It used to drive me crazy until I accepted that's how he gets his inspiration.

I would almost describe Total Control as an evolution of what makes your other comics strong. The characters here are drawn in an almost portrate like manner. This ties well with the realistic backdrop and world they inhabit. You then throw the characters into larger than life situations with an emphasis on the victims perspective. All these aspects exist in cheerleaders, though obviously there are some absolute differences.
#It's all Kate in the spotlight this time. We observe her oppressors from her perspective entirely.
#She's still exposed to the public where cheerleaders involves hiding. Held in place by blackmail and pride rather than chains and rope.
#Both Twins and Cheerleaders feature a fair bit of the teenager's perspective. Here we get to see the adults perspective on the insanity.

If I'm allowed a suggestion, it would be to hang onto Total Control as the next comic to really take off with when you need something different. Continuing to put existing series to bed so there are fewer spheres being juggled. There's a real gratification with Confiscated Twins or Invaders being truly complete. I can go back to them like re-watching an older but very good classic.

Is what you're thinking include "Dead shark island 3", the list of your upcoming comic? I would love to see after the fight with the helicopter and see Meggan finally caught and punished, the proper way.

Thanks!

I'd forgotten about dead shark island. A bit of an example what I mean though. You've got lot of very good comics out there with their own distinct storylines. So already there's plenty of room to try different things in the different perverse worlds you've devised.

P.S. I like how one of the girls in dead shark island is tough as nails. She adds a distinct flavor and challenge for the old man who lives there.

It's ok when the perverts who kidnapped the girls abused and humiliated them all ways possible but in this time I think (it's my opinion) the only humiliation worst that suffered by the girls is being r@ping by people that they know, for example her teachers or alumns in her high-school even by people of her family.
Hmmm... it's curious you should say that. There is a little of that beginning in Cheerleaders 8, which goes overdrive in Cheerleaders 9.

I couldn't agree more. Like I said earlier, I'm most looking forward to seeing how the Cheerleader Coach is played against her students. It does not get much lower, or perverse than a teacher rapping, or being r@ped by her own students. I wouldn't be surprised if Lorena has a key part to play in that dynamic. Her status as the mother and grown woman of this bunch creates some relation between the two. She's also a long time slave by now who's had repeat sex wither her own flesh and blood. Her captors will likely use that to reign in the fellow adult.

I have yet to get my hands on the Dark Vengence Series of comics. But I do know a fellow who has them. If I'm lucky, then by tomorrow I'll get a look at number 1 and 2. I have yet to see a "bad" work published by Fernando. So I know I'll enjoy it. Buildup to no.3. (I only recently discovered these comics. Guess I was lucky in discovering some of the best authors my first foray.)

Turns out my contact was available today. So I got a chance to check out Dark Vengeance and re-read Dead Shark Island. This isn't the place for detailed reviews. But while Fernando could never produce a bad comic, I had strong impressions of both.

-# I found Dark Vengeance very... one note to be honest. It's essentially a bunch of black convicts taking vengeance on a judge using his daughters. As best I could tell that's all. The scenarios involved in the sex are pleasantly outlandish. But I honestly found much of it hard to read in detail. (It's not fair of me, but I find the elements involving the father very hard to read.)

-# Dead Shark Island left a much more positive impression. The scenarios might not be as crazy. But the setting, narrative and characters are a lot stronger. The old man has some competition in the form of Megan. And there's that looming sense of isolation over a clearly evolving story. It's great stuff.
