It depends on what you're after. if I want a great story, I'll go and read a good novel. But I buy Dofantasy comics to provide a good story that includes elements that I enjoy in my fantasy. Nipple piercing is one of those (amongst others). And it's one that I have come to look forward to in Predondos work. From my perspective I'm thinking, you're focussing on the bread in the sandwich when there's clearly not enough tasty filling in it!

Agreed. I'm not looking for great literature in my bdsm comics, unless "Suck my cock, bitch!" is considered great writing. If anything, it's not so much the story, per say, that is enjoyable, as it is the scenario in which the debauchery occurs. Yeah, the bread ' s important, but the sweet meat contained within is what I want to feast on!

Personally I would argue that, while not impossible, America's "instant gratification" culture and the inherent inertia present in the current pornographic market make any detailed storywork of this type unfeasible simply because the expectations are not present. No one expects anything good, so nobody makes anything good, which means no one expects anything good. It's a vicious cycle.

I would argue that it's not that it can't but merely that it won't. Also, market economics and current expectations do not encourage anything thought-provoking in this genre simply because busting out mass produced empty calories on a daily basis makes more cash than making something truly detailed and entertaining once a month. The sheer numbers win the day because in the end, all the customer wants is 10 minutes on a template idea and the producer wants to dump out as much as possible regardless of quality because there are low standards to begin with.

Then again, I suppose this isn't really unique to Dofantasy or the pornographic industry. It's why we have hundreds or thousands of fast food restaurants per city and maybe a handful of health food stores of dubious and varying value. Yeah, nobody buys a 20E BDSM comic expecting Ulysses or Infinite Jest, but then again nobody reads Ulysses or Infinite Jest either.

It CAN be done, and it CAN be good, but most people don't try. Which is kind of tragic if you dwell on it too much.

Total Control I thought was an excellent example. Much deeper characterisation and a real sense of the power play. But I agree, most of the comics are just a few sex scenes strung together with the loosest of narrative. I can think of only a handful of artists that really put the depth of crafting a reality around their product. Those that do get my Euros!

Agreed on Total Control. I also think Slasher puts a bit more thought into his stories than most others.

Thank you very much for all your comments, your criticisms help me a lot, it's a shame that I have not participated in the forum in a while, I would have solved many of the mistakes that you say, but unfortunately I had a lot of work and I could not,

Kelswa, Cooltrue, Sarenaph, Darkfist, you all are right to be upset by the disappearance of the piercings and I promise I´ll fix it, there is an explanation which I hope will please everyone, but unfortunately will not be until Hotties Next Door Part 5 (this is next comic I'm doing), Hotties PArt 4 is already finished and also I´ve just finished Prison Horror Story 5, so the next will be Hotties Part 5, where I promise to resolve the problem of piercings
