Re: Warlord of Mars? Anyone know this comic?
To be honest, in my younger days I would have enjoyed working on something like 'Warlords of Mars'. Sure, it's mostly about the tease but it would have been fun from an artistic stand point.

Slightly off topic, but are there any J. Scott Campbell fans amongst our artists?
I've always been quite fond of his style, it possesses an certain innate charm.

- Well, J. Scott Campbell love to draw almost naked girl with many sexy curve and full bosom. YOu should check his fairy tale character in adult version on Deviant art.
- His style also tend to fir perfectly as a Dof comic too, may be i 'll practice with his style some time.

@ Demosthenes, His style is perfectly suited to his comicbook medium. Very tall, cute and lean characters. If you met people who look like this in the real world, you would be very concerned.
I prefer a slightly meatier subject, closer to real world anatomy albeit more bossomy.

Oh, I'm very aware of the fact that his style isn't hyper-realistic.Ferres wrote:@ Demosthenes, His style is perfectly suited to his comicbook medium. Very tall, cute and lean characters. If you met people who look like this in the real world, you would be very concerned.

Doesn't mean it can't still be sexy though!
I mean... Sydney Savage!

Looks like a straight knock off of Modesty Blaise. Was that intended?

I suspect the outfit is less than a coincidence.Ferres wrote:Looks like a straight knock off of Modesty Blaise. Was that intended?

But Modesty Blaise was no tease, she actually showed the goods.

That makes her given name rather ironic.Ferres wrote: But Modesty Blaise was no tease, she actually showed the goods.

Very powerful style....I'm sure I'd be horrified to learn just how fast Campbell can tear out illustrations like this..
Mainstream comics...a world I'll have to explore some day soon.
